Happy Birthday to me (belated)!

My birthday was October 7th! It was a good day! On Friday the 6th, my friends Tien and Gautham came up from the DC/VA region to celebrate. Tien's bday is the 9th and Gautham's is the 6th. I kissed the wife good-bye and then went out like a bachelor.

Unfortunately, we met some hot, mean women who didn't want to play...

The Segway Files

I rode a Segway HT the other day. Wow, what a ride! I'll spare you the embarrasing pic of me on the beast. Let's just say that I now WANT ONE! Despite all the hyperbole and the rabid pre-release media attention, it just makes sense. Now that most of us are paying over $3/gallon for gas, a vehicle that would allow someone to make a quick trip to Starbuck's or to the market and use less non-renewable energy, I'm all for it. Of course, this won't replace my lust for a motorcycle (BMW, please) but I have a big enough garage for at least two motorcycles and a Segway! The question now is, what color...
